Dog Boarding and how it works

Choosing someone to look after your pet can be a stressful process which is why we’re here to fully support owners in their decision making and to make the transition as smooth as possible for your pet.

Before you make your first booking we will arrange a convenient time for you and your dog to come and visit us in our home for an initial meet and greet.  This is an important part of the process and allows your dog to familiarise himself with the new surroundings and meet our dogs.  We also have two cats and so we do ask that your dog is tolerant of cats and has no history of aggression towards cats.  As experienced pet owners we understand that many dogs will bark at or want to chase cats and this is only natural!  We can use this as an opportunity to assess whether you think our family is a good match for your dog and vice versa.

During this visit we will answer any questions you may have and ask you all about your dog; their likes and dislikes, daily routines, any habits they have (naughty or otherwise), any quirky little behaviours and your dog’s general health and care.  We can then build up a profile of your dog so that we are fully prepared to meet all their needs, so that both you and your dog are as comfortable and relaxed as possible when they come to stay.

While boarding with us your dog will enjoy daily walks, lots of human interaction, time for games and mental stimulation and plenty of fuss.  We guarantee they will have a wonderful stay!

Dog Walking and how it works

All Fur One is based in the Padgate area of Warrington and we offer our dog walking service to customers in the local area.  We currently cover Padgate, Orford, Woolston, Cinnamon Brow, Birchwood, Bewsey, Winwick, and Sankey.  If you’re not sure if we cover your area please just ask! We’ll be happy to help.

Think of our walks as adventure time for your dog!  We like to make the most of the time that your dog spends with us and so we visit a variety of great locations that are perfect for dog walking.  Group dog walks can be a hugely positive experience for our furry companions and many owners find that their dogs enjoy the benefits of

  • improved socialisation
  • better recall
  • greater fitness levels
  • weight loss
  • overall contentment
  • mental stimulation
  • stress relief and lower anxiety levels.

Before you make your first booking we will take some basic information from you and answer any questions that you may have.  We can then arrange a short visit for us to meet and greet you and your dog.  During this visit we can discuss your requirements further and get to know you both.  We love to know as much as possible about the dogs we care for so this is a great opportunity for you to tell us all about them!  This consultation is completely free and you are under no obligation to use our services or make a decision on the spot.

If you decide that you would like to use our dog walking service we will then make arrangements for how to access your property.  For regular clients we offer a convenient key holding service, where keys are safely stored in a lockable safe until the time when you don’t need our services any more or upon request for your key to be returned.  In the event of you losing your keys or being locked out of your home we also offer an emergency call out service for a small charge.

Our group walks are one hour long and take place in a variety of locations, on-lead or off-lead (consent required if you would like your dog to be walked off-lead).  We will come and collect your dog from your home in our fully customised and airconditioned dog van.  Here they will have their own comfortable crate in which to travel.  After our walk we will drive your pup back home, give him a little clean if needed and settle him back in.

If you would prefer your dog to be walked alone we are happy to arrange this for you.

Cat and Puppy Home Visits

Many pet owners prefer to let their pet stay in their own home when they are away to cause as least disruption and stress as possible for their animals.  Our pop-in services offer care for your pet in their own home surroundings.  We will call round and spend time fussing your pet, refresh their water and feed, change any litter trays, open or close your curtains if required and leave your house clean and secure.

Similarly, if you have a puppy that needs letting out while you’re at work during the day we can come to your house and spend time fussing your pup, let them out or take them for a short walk, feed them, change water bowls and clean up any mess.
